I’m Phi Lin, interested in the relationship between the rules a player learns and the feelings a game leaves behind.

My work moves between original game concepts and independent analysis. I look at resource trade-offs, spatial rhythm, and visual cues, then ask how those observations can become design decisions.

Refraction Defense is my current course proposal. Its next steps are a playable prototype and a finished game; this collection will grow alongside that process.
